Preallocate a Patient and/or Caregiver

In a care channel, all discussions are visible to all participants. If you are ready to start using a care channel but don’t yet have the information needed to invite a patient or their circle of care, you can preallocate them.

The Preallocate action then lets you add them to a care channel even if they haven’t joined Braver yet. As soon as they have a Braver account, they will have access to all the information in the care channel where they were preallocated.

Step-by-Step

1. In the patient record, click the purple rectangle at the top right. The rectangle can show different symbols depending on where you are in the invitation process.

   

2. Under Patient or Responsible persons, click Preallocate.

   

3. You can now add the patient or the responsible persons to a care channel. As soon as they have a Braver account, they will have access to all the information in the care channel where they were preallocated.
